Drupadas plan of action

Drupada was sure that nothing was going to succeed by talks,because Duryodhana was not fair.so they had to make preparations for war. They should seggregate those kings who were in their faor and ask for their help. In the mean time they should send an able and efficient person to Duryodhana for a truce.they should send their presentatives to kings like Salya,Kekaya,,Dhrushtakethu and others.

Drupada sent his official priest to Dhrutha rashtra for a peaceful solution.Duryodhana also started asking the kings to help him if the war came. But he wanted to request Sree Krishna in person because he was their lative too.
When he went to Dwaraka, Sree Krishna was asleep. So he sat on a chair near his head. At the same time Arjuna also came seeking Krishnas help and he stood at his feet with respect.Krishna woke up and Saw Arjuna first and later Duryodhana.
 duryodhana told him that as he came first to seek his help,Krishna should be on their side.but Krishna said that he saw Arjuna first because he stood near his feet.he gave them two options. He said that he had ten thousand warriors on one side and he alone was on the other. He would not fight directly in the war.he woudl only advise them. So each one had an option. Since Arjuna was you ger of the two,he would have the first option to choose among the two.
Arjuna opted for SreeKrishnas presence on his side. duryodhana too was happy with the ten thousand warriors he was going to have in war.
Duryodhana requested Balarama to fight for him. ut he gently refused that he would be on the side of Krishna. But he would be neutral and would not fight on any side.

Udyoga parvamu

Near and dear ones who came to attend the marriage of Abhimanyu and Uththara stayed there for some more time.oneday Krishna addressed all of them like this.Pandavas were righteous people. They underwent many difficulties and problems with Sakuni and Kouravas.though they humiliated and ill treated Pandavas kept cool and maintained their righteousness. Time came to help these good people as well wishers.we should form a group and send an able person to Suyodhana to see that every thing is settled on a good note.
Bala rama was of the opinion that the person who is presenting them should pacify Suyodhana and see that both the groups become one.because Dharmaraju was in the wrong in the beginning itself by accepting to play dice .
Saathyaki deplored Balaraamas  attitude.he said that Suyodhana would never accept to their idea of giving back Pandavas rightful kingdom to them. But they had to ask him to give back Pandavas due to them ,otherwise they should be prepared for war.

Duryodhanas doubt regarding completion of agnaathavaasa

Duryodhana turned defeated from uththara gograhanam.he was ashamed of his defeat.he did not like Bheeshmas saying that Pandavas completed their term succesfully.he wanted to hear it from Dharmaraju because he was confident that dharmaraju would never bluff.he consulted with Krna and others and sent one of his men to Dharmaraju with the complaint that Arjuna came out before the completion of agnaathavaasa.
Dharmaraju replied that they completed their full terms correctly because during some years adhika maasa came and so it was compensated and thus every thing was correct and there were no doubts whatsoever.
If they still doubted they should ask that question before elders like Bheeshma and Drona and they would clarify correctly.Bheeshma chided their narrow mindedness.
Pandavas broght their arms from the tree where they hid them during agnaathavaasa.they stayed at aplace called Upaplaavyamu.
Sreeekrishna,Balarama,Saathyaki,Subhadra and Abhimanya came to see Pandavas.kings who were on the side of Pandavas like Kaasiraju also came.vmarriage of Abhimanyu and Uththara was performed in a grand and happy environment.

Virata shows his respect towards Pandavas

Virata was dumbstruck with this realisation and overwhelmed.he fell on Dharmarajus feet asked for his forgiveness.he hugged Bheema,Arjuna,Nakula and Sahadeva.he sent message to his wife,Sudeshna, that Mlini was in reality Droupadi. So he told her to treat her with respect .Pandavas expssed their gratitude that in the protection of Virata ,they could complete their year of agnaathavaasa succesfully.Virata was condescent enough not take take the credit of their succesful completion of Agnaathavaasa.it was all gods grace.
He pointed out that he was always on their side. If they had o fight for their kingdom,he woulddefinitely fight on their side.
To these words, Uththara kumara said that the kingdom they were ruling was actually their gift to them. So being at their service was not such a great thing. He called for his sister,Uththara and requested Dharmaraju to accept her as wife to Arjuna.
Arjuna did not accept that offer,because he felt that as teacher for Uththara, he stood as  a parent in her eyes.he offered his son,Abhimanyu for his pupil in marriage.everyone was happy for his decision.

Arjuna reveals their identity

Next day morning Pandavas wore attire of kings and went to the assembly of Virata.Dharmaraju sat on the throne of Virata. virata was aghast to see Kankubhattu sitting on his throne.then Arjuna said that Kankubhattu was worthy of sitting on the throne because he performed many yagnas and he was Dharmaraju.Virata King was astonished by that reply and questioned him as to where his other brothers were if he were Dharmaraju. Then Arjuna explained that the main cook,Valaludu was Bheema. Damagrandhi, the main horseman, was Nakula. Sairandhri,Malini ,was Droupadi.Bheema introduced Bruhannala to Virata as Arjuna.
Then Uththara kumara intervened and convinced his father that Arjuna helped him in uththara gograhanam and in fighting and winning over Kouravas.

Dialogue between uhthara kumara and Virata

Uththarakumara hugged his father. He saw the bruise on the forehead of Kanku bhattu and enquired about its origin.thenVirata answered that he got angry with the words of Kanku Bhattu that the victory was poosible only because of Bruhannala. So he threw the dice disc at Kanku Bhattu and so the bruise was formed.
Uththara kumara requested his father to ask for forgiveness of Knku Bhattu. They were great people and they should be treated with respect. In Reality succes did not come with the sinle handed efforts of himself. A great person in obscurity helped them in war. He did not reveal the real identity of Bruhannala to his father.
Bruhannala went and gave the turbans of great warriors of kouravas to Uththara.

That night Pandavas met in secrecy. Then , Bheema and Arjuna got angry for the rash act of Virata towards Dharma raju. But Dharmaraju pacified them.he advised that they would reveal their secret to him in next days assembly.

Arjuna collects turbans of Kourava warriors

Arjuna makes fun of Duryodhanas and Karnas plight and flight.he says that he was younger to them. Instead of fighting and dying ferociously in war they were running away from war.Duryodhana lost his temper and again started the warfare along with Bheeshhma and others.Arjuna used sammohanaasthra and by its effect all the kouravas and their army fainted and became unconscious except Bheeshma.thenArjuna directed Uththara kumara to go and collect the turbans of great warriors
.Bheeshma got up and again fought with Arjuna but to no avail. Duryodhana and others got up and were about  to start the fight again. But Bheeshma chided them saying that Arjunagave them their lives because he could have killed all of them when they fainted and became unconscious in the battle field. But he did not.kouravas returned with shame. Arjuna saluted elrs and took leave of them and left the warfield.

Arjuna directed Uththara kumara to tell that he himself won the war but not Arjuna.they sent sheperds to go and tell the king about the victory.Virata was holding assembly at that time. He knew that they had victory at dakshina gograhanam. He was worried that as Bruhannala went along with Uththara kumara, victory was doubtful. But Kanku bhattu told him that they would return victorious from uththara gograhanam also.he was happy with the news that uththara kumara was turning with victory over kouravas.

 Kanku bhattu told that if Bruhannala accompanied Uththara kumara then victory was sure to occur.for these words Viraata king lost his temper and threw wooden plank at Kanku bhattu.blood oozed from the forehead of Kanku bhattu and immediately Malini came running and stopped the blood from falling on the ground.she answered to the question of Virata as to her actions that if blood spilled to the ground of a pious man like Knku bhattu, that kingdom would go to dogs and calamities would spring up.
