Simhabala perishes in the hands of Bheema

Droupadi met Bheema in the middle of the night secretlyand told about that days happenings.ha told her to call Simhabala to narthanasaala giving him thei pression that she approved his amorous advances.thenBheema would kill him.
Next day Simhabalaame to Sudheshnas residence and again started cornering Droupadi for attention.She acted as per Bheemas directions and requested him to come during thenight to narthanasaala, dance hall.Bheema waited  for arrival of Simhabala to dance hall. First he made him feel that it was Droupadi only but as soon as he came near he attacked him.
Simhabala was aghast with the developments. Bheema was afraid that his real identity wouldbe revealed. simhabalawas afraid that if people came toknow of these developments it would be shameful. So both attacked each other silently and Bheema atlast killed Simhabala in an unique way.

Next day Malini called gate keepers and told that her husbandswho were gandharvas killed himbecause he had nasty impression of her sanctity.simhabalas brothers were angry with these consequences resulting in the death of their brother. Because she was the root cause of all these things, they tied Malini to the dead body of Simhabala and took her to the burial ground to cremate both of them. heema heard her vails of desperation and went there in  disguise and killed Simhabalas brothers and released her from those,nots which bound her to the dead body of Simhabala.

Viraata and sudheshna   Did not want her to stay there after this episode. But Droupadi requested that she be retained just for another thirteen days. After that she wouldvoluntarilymove away. sudheshna approved under pressure and she was afraid od Malini a d her Gandharva husbands.she requested her not kill her husband and her sons.Malini accepted her request and stayed there.

Lust of Simhabala

Sudheshna had abrother ,by name of  Simhabala.he was the army chief of Virata.he came to see his sister and there by saw Droupadi there. He was struck by her beauty. He wanted to possess her.Droupadi was afraif of his guestures and looks.he requested his sister to see that Malini fulfil his sexual urge.
Sudheshna did not know what to do. So,she sent Malini to go to his brothers house and bring wine to her.as Sairandhri was acting as servant maid,she could not deny.she prayed Sri Krishna and sun god to protect her from vicious acts of Simhabala.Sun god sent a demon as protection to Malini.Simhabala was happy that Malini came to him. So, he could not control himself. He tried to grab her. But the demons strength flew to her, and threw him away and stalled Simhabalas unwanted advances.she ran from there but he too followed her. They came to the assembly of Virata. There also Simhabala tried to molest her  but the demon protecting her threwSimhabala to the ground.Virata was afraid to face the wrath of his brother in law. So he requested him to go home.he had soft corner for Droupadi and felt sorry for her plight.every one in the assembly favored her and felt sorry for her state.

Pandavas and Droupadi join at Viratasassembly

Dharmaraju reached Virata. At that time Viraata was attending assembly. harmaraju introduced himself like this.he was adorned in the guise of a sage. He told Viraata that he was from KURUdesam. Earlier he was afriend of Dharmaraju,but as they left the country for woods he was wandering hither and thither. At present ,he wanted to stay in the assembly of Virata. virata oblized his wish happily.Dharmaraju told his name as Kankubhattu.
Next,Bheema arrived. He  introduced himself as Soodra and his name was Valaludu. He knew only cooking.he wanted no wages but just food and clothing for his survival.Virata offered job to control elephants but Bheema declined. He said he would fight with tigers and lions and do cooking to the king.
arjuna came there as a gay person with the name ,Bruhannala. He told Viraata that he could teach dance to his women. Viraata called for his daughter ,Uththara and told her to learn dance from Arjuna.
Nakula came and was observing kings horses.he told Viraata that he could master his horses and look after them efficiently and Viraata oblized.Nakula introduced himself as Daamagrandhi.

Sahadeva came and requested to be employed in his cattle sattion . He told his name was Thanthripaaludu. Viraata okayed his request.
Droupadi came there as sairandhri  with the name,Malini. Sudheshna ,Viratas wife saw her and called her. She told she was doing some vrathafor one year and during that time she wanted to stay there. Sudheshna was happy to oblize her wish.

Like this Pandavas andDroupadi stayed with Viraata for almost one year.

Viraata parvamu

Pandavas completed twelve years of aranyavaasam,staying in the woods.they had to complete one year  among people without disclosing their real identity and no one should recognise or identify them. f they were found out, they again had to undergo twelve years in the woods and another year anonymously.So,Dharmaraju requested the Brahmins and others who were following them to bless them so that they could comfortably fulfil the obligations of  living in obscure for twelve months.they blessed Pandavas and left for their abodes.Pandavas,Droupadi,and Dhoumyudu left that place. They decided to stay in the kingdom of Mahtsya kingdom,because their king was a good natured man.

Dharmaraju decided that he woild stay with the king in the guise of a sage and satisfy the king by his phylosophical topics in the name of Kankudu.he would introduce himself as a person who worked under Dharma raju previously.
Bheema said that he would become a cook to the king under the name of Valaludu.Arjuna said he would teach dance and music to kings daughter in the name of BRuhannala. He would say that he was with Droupadi earstwhile.Nakula said that he would work in rearing horses in the name ofDaamagrandhi.Sahadeva would look after the cattle with the name,Thanthreepaaludu.Droupadi said that she would stay with the queen as sairandhri with the name,Maalini.

Dhoumyudu told them about so many things which would be useful to them in near future.Pandavas travelled for certain period. They selected a tree on which they could safely keep their arms,bows and archeries.they made it look like a dead body. They covered it with skin of a dead animal.
To talk among themselves and convey messages among themselves they thought of these names. They were Jaya, Jayantha,Vijaya, Jayathsena and Jayadbala.

Dharmaraju tested for righteousness

Pandavas again went to Dvaithavanam.One day one Brahmin came to Dharmaraju . He asked that his ARAni(a tool used in lighting fire during yagnas)was lost. Accidentally it got caught by the horns of a deer and it ran into the forest.He wanted it back so that there would be no hindrance to his daily chores as  a sage.
Dharmaraju  and his brothers followed that deer and tried to catch hold of it. But they failed to do so.deer disappeared and Pandavas were exhausted.they took rest under a peepal tree.Dharmaraju sent Nakula to bring water for him.Nakula went to a pond and was about to collect water . But a devil staying there told him to answer its questions. Then only he could collect water.but he disobeyed its orders. As a result, he fainted there itself. Simliar fate was faced by Sahadeva, Arjuna and Bheema.

Dharmaraju came searching for his brothers and saw all of them in that condition.he too wanted to drink water from that pond and he too heard the same words.he answered all the questions put forth by that devil.But actually he was an Yaksha. He was satisfied by the answers given by Dharma raju.
He said that he could make only one of his brothers alive.so it was Dharmarajus choice to select whom he wanted alive. harmaraju requested him to make his brother,Nakula to be made alive. aksha asked him why he did not choose his  two aliant brothers,Bheema and Arjuna,why did he choose Nakula.

Then Dharmaraju replied that his father had tow wives,Kunthi and Madri. kunthis eldest son, Dharmaraju was alive. So it is justified that he request for the life of Madris eldest son .Yaksha praised him for his righteousness and told that he would make all his brothers to come alive. All his brothers got up as if from sleep.Dharma raju then asked Yaksha actually who he was. Then ,he replied that he was diety of righteousness and he came to test Dharmarajus righteousness.he was pleased and he gave a boon to him as to whatever he wanted ,he would sanction.

Then,Dharmaraju asked for Arani which the Brahmin lost due to the act of deer.yaksha was still more pleased and told him the truth that actually he himself came in the guise of a deer and ran with the arani of the Brahmin. It was all done to put Dharmaraju to the test .

Then the diety of righteousness blessed them that their term  of maining in the forest was over. Agnaatavasam was yet to be completed. During that period of disguise, no one would identify them as Pandavas. So, they could complete that one year in disguise would also be completed  succesfully.

Pandavas turned happily to their abode. rahmin was also happy because he got back his arani.he too showered his blessings on Pandavas.

Saindhavas cheap act of lust

Pandavas went to the forest for gaming, leaving Droupadi and Dhoumya muni at the abode of a sage, Thrunabindu.Dussala was the daughter of Dhrutharashtra. Her husband was Saindhava. He was going on that way to marry asalva girl.He saw Droupadi there and was moonstruck by her beauty. He sent his frined,Kotikaasyudu, to reveal his wish to Droupadi and bring her to him.when Kotikasyudu went and conveyed his friends wish to her, she told him to wait till her husbands came.Saindhava carried her by force and Dhoumya muni ran behind his chariot shouting to release her.
Dharma raju had instinct that something was amiss and going wrong. So. They returned immediately. roupadis servant maid ,Dhaathreyika,was crying. She told them what had happened. pandavas follwed the way fast and blocked Saindhava.there was a fierce fight between Bheema and Saindhava and his army.Saindhava left DRoupadi and ran away.Arjuna killed Saindhavas chariot horses.Sindhava ran to protect himself but Bheema followed and beat him with fists.Bheema tonsured  Saindhavas head and commanded that he should say he was a slave of Pandavas wherever he went.Saindhava was afraid of Bheema and consented to do as per his bidding.Bheema and Arjuna took him to Dharmaraju. dharmaraju and Droupadi laughed T the plight of Saindhava and told them to release Saindhava.Dharmaraju admonished from doing such silly and mindless acts. saindhava returned to his kingdom.

in the mean time, Indra came in the guise of a Brahmin and took away the kavacha kundalas of Karna and returned to heaven. pandavas were happy to know of these incidents and kouravas were sad as to these occurences.

duryodhanas suicidal instinct

Duryodhana was ashamed because Pandavas rescued him and his men from gandharvas.he was at the mercy of his lifelong enemies.he was depressed. He could neither sleep peacefully nor eat contentedly.Karna came to see him.Duryodhana explained his desperation to him.when Gndharvas imprisoned Duryodhana and his men, his army requested Dharmaraju to protect them.Dharmaraju pitied them and sent his brothers to release Kouravas from Gandharvas.Arjuna showed his valour and restrained Gandharvas from taking Kouravas to Indra as prisoners. then Chithrasena revealed the vicious plan and nature of Kouravas to Pandavas.as per directions of Indra to curtail kouravas and bring them to him, Chithrasena had come.On Arjunas request ,they were handed over to Dharmaraju.Dharmaraju requested Chithrasena to release Kouravas form their captivity.Duryodhana and his men were released at the mercy of their enemies. It was better to die in warfield than to live on the mercy of enemies.so,he would end his life. He directed them to return to Hasthina with Dussaasana.he would stay back and reap the fruits of his misdeeds.

Demons who were under cover at Nagaloka came to know of these things and Duryodhanas intention.they wanted to stop Duryodhana from taking his life. SO!they sent a power by name Kruthya and brought Duryodhana to their place.they pacified him and told him that the war was not just between brothers children, it was a war between dieties and demons.he was their leader.he was their only hope to win over dieties. So he should stop thinking of taking his own life but wage a war against Pandavas and win.
Duryodhana could not clarify whether it was a dream or really it happened. But he became normal and confident once again that he could conquer his enemies.he returned to Hsthina with his aids. He wished to perform yagna.With the consent and approval of Bheeshma,Dhrutharashtra and other elders ,he started Vaishnva yagna on auspicious day and completed it succesfully.it went of smoothly and every one was happy and praised him for the way it was condusted without any blemish.

Pandavas free kouravas from gandharvas

Gandharvas fought with Arjuna ferociously.they tried to take their prisoners by air ways.But Arjuna understood their plot and controlled them from doing that.he utilised his archry tactics in curtailing their moves.Chithra sena accepted his defeat and stood before his friend,Arjuna. arjuna too stopped his fight.

Then Chithra sena told that Kouravas wanted to make fun of Pandavs . So they came there with their wealth and power to show off. on the direction of Indra , Chithrasena came with his army. he was supposed to take Duryodhana and others  as prisoners before Indra.Arjuna then told CHithrasena to do as he wished with the consent of Dharmaraju.

Dharmaraju requested Chithrasena to release Kouravas by seeing his face.Chithrasena agreed and returned to Indraprastha. He told of the developments and Dharmarajus request to release Kouravas to Indra.Dharmaraju preached Duryodhana to be goodnatured and not enter into things which he could not complete succesfully.Duryodhana was ashamed for his acts and returned with dejected face.

Duryodhanas parade of wealth and treasure

Pandavas left for dvaithavanam from Kaamyakavanam.Dhrutharashtra was afraid of Pandavas.Duryodhana observed his fathers unhappiness and restlessness. H wanted to make him happy.he had discussion with Karna and Sakuni regarding this issue.Sakuni told that he heard that Pandavas were desperate at Dvaithavanam.If Duryodhana went there and showed off his power and wealth, Pandavas would be much more demoralised.the two sults of wealth were happiness of our people and sorrow and speration of our enmies.
Hearing this, Duryodhana started his ghoshayaathra along with his brothers, Karna, Sakuni and other relatives.

at that time,Dharmaraju was performing yagna.Duryodhana directed his servants to create play ground near that place.gandharvas quested the servants of Duryodhana not to make sports arena near the lake as Dharmaraju was performing yagna.duryodhana sent his brothers to occupy thatlace by force.Gandharvas couldot face them. so they told of these developments to their king,CHithrasena.he sent his army to fight with Duryodhanas men.in the war, Duryodhanas army perished.Gandharvas won over Duryodhana and his men and took them to CHithrasena.

Ministers of Duryodhana went to Dharmaraju and requested him to release Duryodhana and his brothers ,with their families and army from the grips of gandharvas.Bheema was happy that Kouravas came to their rightful end.But Dharmaraju choded Bheema for his loose talk and directed him to go with his brothers and bring Duryodhana and others from the bondage of Chithrasena.It was difficult to convince Bheema but at last he agreed.

Bheema,Arjuna,Nakula and Sahadeva along with Duryodhanas army blocked the way of Gandharvas ,who were taking Duryodhana and others as prisoners, at Gandamaadana mountains.

Bheema captured by python

One day Bheema went to the forest for game.there he was caught by a huge python. He fought but could not come out  succesfully.Dharmaraju went in search of him and found him in the grip of the huge python.he was sad to his brothers plight. He requested the python to leave his brother. He would him with as much meat he wanted to suffuse his hunger.
Then the python answered that he was a king named Nahushudu. He was curesed. Before that,he was an ancestor to Pandavas. H was almost equal to Indra.Agasthya,the sage cursed him.then he requested the sage to help him see that the victims became weak when he caught them and how he could come out free from this curse.
Then the sage said that if any one could give satisfactory answers to his questions, then the curse would vanish.so, python asked Dharmaraju questions.
Dharmaraju respectfully told him that only good Brahmins could give correct answers to his questions but however he would try sincerely.python was satisfied with his answers. Then it lost its guise and returned back to normalcy.Dharmaraju was happy that his brother could be relieved.Dharmaraju learnt many phylosophical and righteous subjects from Nahusha. He returned to his abode along with Bheema.

One day, Sreekrishna ,along with Sathya bhama  came to them.he respectfully bowed to Dharmaraju and hugged his younger brothers.he enquired Droupadi affectionately.Dhoumyudu and Brahmins prayed  Krishna.Dharmaraju gave a respectful and warm welcome to Sree Krishna and Sathyabhama.he displayed his affection towards Arjuna by seating him next to him.he consoled and gave ample courage to Dharmaraju.

Arjuna returns from heaven

Bheema went to the top of the mountain and saw Kuberas abode. He blew his conch.army of demos ame he won over them.Dharmaraju,along with Romasa mahaamuni, Droupadi and Nakula Sahadeva came there searching for Bheema.demons informed Kubera the demise of Manimantha and other demons.Kubera wanted to see the great  warrior who could obtain sowgandhika kamalas and now panchavarna pushpas, that is multicoloredflowers.he came along with his family and was happy to see Bheema.Dharmaraju and others showed him proper spect. Kubera requested harmaraju to control his younger brother.he would see that dharma,vaayu and aswanulu would protect them always.he told Pandavas that Arjuna was also about to come there soon.

Pandavas stayed there for a month.Arjuna came there.every one was happy for his arrival.Maathali returned to Indraparstha after wards with the chariot.everyone was happy talikng to Arjuna that whole night.next day morning Indra came along with dieties to see Pandavas.Pandavas also shoed theri regard towards Indra and other dieties.Indra told them that Arjuna made them happy by killing demons, Nivatha and Kavacha.he was sure to bring back the lost kingdom to Pandavas.no one can defeat him in war.ying so Indra returned back to Indraprastha.

Dharmaraju asked his younger brother,Arjuna, to tell about all his deeds and valour. They were all eager to hear about his greatness.Arjuna wilfully explained about every thing he did at Indra prastha and how he obtained Divyaasthraas from all the dieties including Siva.Pandavas stayed there for ten months.they went to all the places in Himalayas where devarshuis, and Brahmarshis performed their yagnas. They moved about those places seeing yoopasthambhas and holy places for another year.

Sowgandhika pushpaapaharanam

Bheema reached the lake where sowgandhika flowers grew.ten thousand demons came to Bheema and told him that the particular garden belonged to Kubera and he was supposed to take his permission if he wanted those flowers. But Bheema introduced himself as the brother of Dharmaraju,Bheema and said there was no necessity to seek the permission of Kubera.he collected some of the flowers. demons came upon him but he sent them back by his valor. They informed this incident to Kubera but he was calm knowing the capacity of Bheema.Bheema was enjoing the nature there after collecting the flowers.
Here, Dharmaraju was concerned about Bheema and was searching him along with his brothers and Droupadi.they came across Bheema. bheema paid homage to Dharmaraju, Dhoumyudu and Romasa ,the sage.he gave the flowers to Droupadi. harmaraju chided him not to repeat such deeds in future.they reached a mountain named Maalyavanthamu.they stayed there for certain time.oneday, some new fragrant flowers more beautiful and more fragrant,came along with the wind towards them.again Droupadi asked Bheema when they were alone that these floweres were much more beautiful than sowgandhika kamallas and she wanted some more of these too.Bheema started to bring them.

Bheema sees Hanuma

Once Droupadi and Bheema were tvaking a leisurely stroll on Gandamaadana mountains. Then ,due to wind thousand petalled lotus with beautiful fragrance came and fell before them. droupadi requested Bheema to bring some more of such flowers.Bheema agreed and went along the way by which the flower flew to them.Droupadi went back to show that flower to Dharmaraju.Bheema came across a pond and he drank water there. After fulfilling his thirst he blew his conch with satisfaction.
near by  Hanuma was sleeping in one of the caves.he raelised that Bheema, his brother made that resounding sound.he wanted to see his brother. So, he made a bigger sound by whipping his tail in the wind.Bheema followed that sound and saw Hanuma.Hanuma opened his eyes and told Bheema to eat the fruits there and go back the way he came.Then Bheema introduced himseld as Panduputhra and quested him again to give him the way to pass through.Hanuma told him that he was aged .so he could not move. so He told Bheema to keep aside his tail and move forward.Bheema tried to lift his tail but failed to do so.he felt ashamed and  respectfully enquired about the monkey. Then Hanuma told him of his real identity and that he was his brother.he was happy that he could see his brother. He told him to be alert while acquiring the flowers because that lake would be watched by yakshas all the time.Hanuma was unhappy about Pandavas plight. He said he would kill  Dhrutharashtra and his sons in single fight. But Bheema requested him not to do so.Hanumantha showed him the way to that lake where in these beautiful lotus flowers grow and went away.

Roamsa comes to Dharmaraju

At that time, a sage by name Bruhadasvudu came to Dharmaraju.Dharmaraja welcomed him warmly.he enquired if there were any who had hard times like them in history.he was passing time along with his brothers, wife and some Brahmins.then Bruhadaswa told him Nalopaakhyaanam where in King Nala had to undergo so many hardships all alone, with no one to share  neither his feelings nor hisboredom and hardships.

Bruhadaswa taught Dharmaraju an art by name Aksha hrudayam . He encouraged Dharmaraju saying that he was to reacquire his kingdom soon.

Then Romasudu,the sage , came to him.Dharmaraju enquired his wellbeing and asked from where he did come. hen Romasudu told him that he was coming from Amaraavathi and his brother ,Arjuna was  
OK.Indra has sent some message to Dharmaraja. it was that Siva gave Paasupathaasthram to Arjuna. arjuna was tained at Amaravathi on some urgent mission. Dharmaraju was asked to visit religious and pious places along with Romasudu.

Pandavas ,along with Braahmans ,visited so many important palces worthy of visiting.they were Naimisamu,Aswsatheerdhamu,gangaagnoshamu,kanyaatheerdhamu,gomathi,baahuda,mahaanadi,Prayaaga,Gangaayamunaasangamam. They bathed in these rivers.they gave gohiranya daanaas to Brahmins.they stayed some time at Prayaaga and heard puraanaas from sages.they visited birthplace of so many pious rivers like gaya mountains,Raama,Brahmalakes, Vaivaswatha lake and bathed there.they succesfully completed chaathurmaasya krathuvus at Gaya near Akshayavatavruksha.

pandavas reached beautiful and breath taking gandamaadana mountains.they went hither and thither due to hurricanes but after a time came together.Droupadi could not walk there due to thorns and rocky pebbles there.she fainted.Dharmaraju was sorry for her plight.then Bheema, with Dharmarajus assent  called for Ghatothkacha.Ghatothkacha appeared immediately with his army. He carried Pandavas from that place safely. the sage Romasa denied his help  and walked with his art of siddhagamanam.

Arjuna visits heaven

Indra welcomed Arjuna to come to heaven once. He sent his chariot to take Arjuna to Amaravaathi.he promised to give him divyaasthraas if he came over there.maathali brought the chariot and took Arjuna to Amaravaathi. indra welcomed him loftily and made him sit along on his throne.then,OOrvasi came over there and expressed her crush over Arjuna  and requested him to satisfy her. But he refused her wish saying that he saw a mother in her and he could not do such a heinous act as she wished him to do. She was ashamed at his rejection and cursed him to become a
Eunuch.

But in the morning Indra came and praised Arjuna for his righteousness. He told him that in near future Pandavas had to undergo agnaathavasam for one year. At that time this curse would help them with agood cover. At that time ,he could spend in teaching dance and music to girls by being a eunuch.after that one year his curse would end.

One day,a sage by name,Romasud,came to Amaravathi. He enquired about Arjuna who sat on the divine throne along with Indra. Then Indra told him that he was close friend of Krishna and son of Kunthi.Arjuna was very powerful.he obtained Paasupathaasthram from Siva.Arjuna was to perform some great deed at Amaravathi at Indras request. Rpmasudu was to go to bhooloka and bring happiness to Dharmaraju and his brothers. He should tell him that Arjuna was safe at Amaravaathi.He should accompany Dharmaraju and show him all the religiously important places there.he should teach and preach him about righteousness and its importance to manhood.

Sivas boon

Once Vyasa came to Pandavas.Vyasa told that he came to know about their plight . So, he came to help them.he taught Prathismruthi,an art to Dharmaraju. Hetold Dharmaraju to teach that art to Arjuna also. With the help of this technique ,arjuna would sharpen his talents hundred fold in all the fields. He would make it happen that Indra ,Siva and other dieties come to him and give their blessed arrows and other important useful tools.they had been longstaying at dvaithavana. He told them to change the place. so,pandavas left for Kaamyayakavana.Dharamaraju taught the art of Prathismruthi to Arjuna. he learnt it and became more powerful. He went to do meditation and thapa and acquire all the powerful armaments . He started to move northern wards and travelled and crossed himalaya gandha maadana mountains, Indrakeelaka mountain.Indra came  and advised him to pray for Siva.

Arjuna went to Himalayas and did great thapa.Siva and Parvathi wanted to test Arjuna. So in the guise of kirathaka couple they went to him.Siva ordered a demon named Mooka, to attack Arjuna in the guise of a pig. Arjuna tried to kill the pig with his gaandeevam. kiratharaju warned him not to kill the animal and he attacked it. The demon disappeared but the controvercy between Kiratha and Arjuna led to a war.they fought tooth and nails . They fought with arrows, swords, and wrestled. But Arjuna could not win over Kiratha and fainted. But Siva was satisfied with the valour displayed by Arjuna.he appeared before Aarjuna in his real state and Arjuna was dumbstruck. He fell over  Sivas feet and praised him.When Siva was pleased and permitted a boon to Arjuna, arjuna asked for Paasupathaasthram and Siva obliged.Comig to know of these developments, Indra and other dikpaalakaas also came to Arjuna. All of them gave their asthraa to Arjuna and vanished.
